Meet Leah, owner of Tease Salon. 🤍

Leah began her journey in the beauty industry at Hodgson VoTech and graduated with her cosmetology license in 2014. Six years later, she and her sister (and best friend), Teal, turned their longtime dream into reality and opened Tease Salon!

Throughout her 15 years in the industry, Leah has continued her education and found her true passion and specialty in all things blonding and hair extensions. What began as her personal specialty has grown into a passion for continuing to elevate those services at Tease alongside a team that truly specializes in both.

For Leah, the best part goes far beyond a good hair transformation. Seeing someone leave feeling happy, sexy, and more confident never gets old—and neither do the genuine relationships built along the way. So many of her clients have become close friends over the years, and she’s equally proud of the close-knit team and culture she and Teal have created together.

Outside the salon, Leah loves traveling, a good girl dinner, the gym, strong coffee, online shopping, and spending time with her favorite people and her cat, Billy—her firstborn child. She’s almost always dreaming up what’s next for Tease, too!

Meet Teal, owner of Tease Salon. 🤍

Teal’s love for the beauty industry started early—she knew she wanted to be a hairstylist from the time she was three years old. She began cosmetology school at Hodgson VoTech in 2009, graduated in 2013, and eventually turned another lifelong dream into reality by opening Tease Salon alongside her sister (and best friend), Leah.

Behind the chair, Teal specializes in blonding, with a serious love for bleach-outs (she wears one herself!), stacked and packed foils, and dimensional blondes. She also offers Invisible Bead and Volume/Flex Weft extensions and loves everything from long, layered cuts to a sassy blunt or elevated bob.

For Teal, the beauty industry is the perfect mix of everything she loves—art, fashion, creativity, and self-expression. Her personal style mixes glam and edgy, and she loves bringing that same creativity into her work with every client.

Outside the salon, Teal is happily married to her husband and best friend, Brett, and is the mother of their two amazing girls, Jade and Ruby, who are just 15 months apart. Being a stylist, salon owner, wife, and mom is everything she always dreamed of, and she feels incredibly blessed to be living it.

Meet Cecilia!

A Level 6 Stylist and Salon Leader/Educator at Tease Salon, Cecilia considers extensions her love language. She’s obsessed with dimensional color—the kind that’s rich, vibrant, and still looks gorgeous months after you leave her chair. Her goal is simple: to make you feel completely at home while helping you walk out looking and feeling like the best version of yourself.

Cecilia also works hands-on with her assistant, helping train the next generation of Tease stylists. Together, they’re able to create a faster, more seamless appointment without sacrificing the detail and quality her work is known for.

Outside the salon, Cecilia is all about good food, good style, and good travel—so come ready to chat!

Meet Bre!

Bre’s love for hair began in 2011 when she discovered her passion for cosmetology at Hodgson Vo-Tech. Since then, she’s combined her creativity, talent, and love of learning to create beautiful, personalized looks for every guest who sits in her chair.

For Bre, hairstyling is about more than beautiful hair—it’s about creating an elevated experience and cultivating genuine, lasting relationships. She loves creating dimensional color, effortless blonding, and transformative extension work, always tailoring each look to enhance her client’s natural beauty and confidence.

Outside of Tease, you’ll most likely find Bre surrounded by her favorite people, at home baking sourdough, or—if it’s summertime—at the beach. At the heart of everything she does, Bre is rooted in her faith and passionate about serving others. She believes every guest deserves to leave her chair feeling confident, cared for, and beautiful.

Meet Kathryn (AKA Kat)!

Kat has been behind the chair for over 12 years after graduating from Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology. She loves all things color—from dimensional balayage and bright blondes to rich reds and bold fashion colors.

Kat believes a great haircut can completely bring a color to life, which is why she loves creating customized cuts just as much as she loves color. Whether it’s a full transformation or a fresh update, she takes the time to create a look that works for each client and makes them feel confident when they leave her chair.

For Kat, the best part of being a stylist is the people. She got into the industry because she loved the idea of making others happy, and more than a decade later, her clients and their happiness are still at the heart of what she does.

When she’s not at Tease, Kat is usually spending time with her family and son. Give her a good book, a show to binge, or a new recipe to try and she’s happy!

Meet Haley!

Haley went to Schilling-Douglas for school and has been doing hair since 2023. She fell in love with her career when she learned how to cut hair, which then evolved into a love for color and extensions as well.

Haley loves being well-rounded in the colors she creates—from blondes, brunettes, and reds to the occasional fashion color! She loves forming genuine connections with her clients while making them feel like the best, most beautiful version of themselves.

In her free time, you can find Haley in her garden, creating art, playing video games, or going on adventures! She is the definition of an old soul—she loves old music, telling and hearing stories, especially with pictures involved.

Haley can’t wait to meet you and help you achieve your hair goals!

Meet Sheridan!

Sheridan has been part of the Tease team since 2022, when she began her hair journey at Paul Mitchell, and has been behind the chair since graduating in January 2023.

Sheridan loves a good transformation and enjoys creating everything from bright blondes and dimensional brunettes to the occasional fashion color. But if you ask her favorite service, there’s no question—extensions have her heart. She loves creating customized extension looks that add length, fullness, and give her clients the hair they’ve always wanted.

For Sheridan, the experience in her chair is just as important as the finished result. She loves getting to know her clients and creating a space that feels comfortable, fun, and personal while still giving them a luxury salon experience—with some yapping, of course.

When she’s not at Tease, Sheridan is happiest outside with her two fur babies. Whether she’s spending the day on a boat, enjoying anything outdoors, or completely wrapped up in a good book, she’s always finding a way to enjoy her downtime.

Meet Gianna (AKA G)!

Gianna has a love for blondes, dimensional color, and creating hair that feels completely customized to each client. She’s also Bellami certified in hair extensions and loves using extensions to add length, fullness, and create a total transformation.

Gianna started her cosmetology journey right here at Tease through a hands-on apprenticeship under Leah. After completing her hours, gaining real experience behind the chair, and passing her state boards, she officially became a licensed cosmetologist and has continued growing her career at Tease ever since.

Her favorite part of doing hair is that no two clients—or heads of hair—are the same. G loves getting to know the person in her chair, making them feel comfortable, and creating a look that fits their style, personality, and hair goals. Nothing makes her happier than seeing a client leave feeling beautiful and confident.

When she’s not at Tease, you can usually find G shopping, with her family and friends, or hanging with her dog, Barkley. She’s also a 2027 bride and recently joined a barre studio, which has quickly become one of her favorite ways to spend her free time!

Meet Melissa!

Melissa has almost two years of experience at Tease Salon and is excited to enter the next chapter of her career as she begins welcoming her own clientele.

Melissa continues to work alongside Level 6 Stylist Cecilia, where she’s able to refine her technique, expand her knowledge, and learn all the details that go into creating an elevated salon experience.

She loves creating personalized looks that help her clients feel confident, effortlessly beautiful, and like the best version of themselves. As she grows behind the chair, Melissa is especially excited to build genuine relationships with her guests and create a space where they can relax, have fun, and leave loving their hair.

Meet Aspen!

Aspen is a graduate of Paul Mitchell The School Delaware and has had a love for the beauty industry since beginning her career in 2024. She loves all things hair, beauty, and makeup and brings a feminine, creative touch to everything she does. Behind the chair, she especially loves creating beautiful blondes, while reds will always have a special place in her heart.

Aspen is currently taking her own clients at Tease while also assisting and working alongside owner Leah. Through hands-on experience, she continues to learn, grow, and perfect her craft while creating beautiful looks for her clients.

For Aspen, doing hair is about so much more than the finished look. She loves creating a space where her clients can feel comfortable being themselves—whether they want to talk, laugh, vent, or simply relax for a few hours. Her goal is for every person who sits in her chair to leave feeling beautiful, confident, and a little lighter than when they walked in.

When she’s not at Tease, you can usually find Aspen shopping, doing her makeup, or hanging out with her girlfriends!

Meet Lainey!

Lainey is a junior at the University of Delaware, where she is studying Business Management. She joined Tease in February 2026 as a Front Desk Associate and Salon Assistant. She loves being part of the salon environment and helping create a welcoming experience for every client.

Her favorite part about working at Tease is seeing the confidence boost clients get while having their hair done and watching them leave feeling their best. She also enjoys assisting the stylists, interacting with clients, and learning more about the beauty industry.

Outside of the salon, Lainey loves shopping, spending time with her friends, cooking fun meals, and trying new recipes. Lainey enjoys being part of the fun and creative atmosphere at Tease and getting to know the clients who come into the salon.
